Announcing HypeTrainFC.com:
Heading into our sophomore year as a team, Hype Train Football Club are pleased to announce the creation of a dedicated, standalone club website - HypeTrainFC.com
Formed in June 2019, Hype Train FC are a member club of the East Berkshire Football League, which is an affiliated league of the Berks & Bucks FA. In our maiden season as a club, we reached the quarter-finals of the Berks & Bucks FA Junior Cup, qualified for the semi-final of the Ascot & Fielden Charity Cup, and remained unbeaten in EBFL Division 2 (4W, 3D, 0L). Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, our season prematurely ended in March 2019 without completing our league or cup campaigns.
As part of our efforts to improve the quality and image of grassroots football in the area, our management team created the EBFL's new crest, as well as their new website, EastBerkshireFL.co.uk
Hype Train FC provides the total package for a grassroots football team, providing weekly training, match reports, player profiles, club statistics, professional in-house graphics and social media, whilst every second is filmed, we provide YouTube match highlights, and photo galleries from matches and training sessions.
Our efforts both on and off the field have seen the club either nominated, shortlisted or victorious in numerous post-season awards, with Martin King winning the Football in Berkshire PlaySport UK Goal of the Season award, whilst we have a trio of finalists up for the Berks & Bucks FA Goal of the Season prize.
Our new website will better house our creative work bringing all aspects Hype Train FC to life and will aid to our growth and development as a club for years to come. Please take a look around the site and look out for new content throughout August as our 2020/21 pre-season schedule begins with a trip to Townmead FC on Saturday August 1st 2020.
If you would like to contact the club regarding any query, please contact Robert Austin via email at contact@thehypetrain.co.uk
Members of the squad congratulate Sam Paddon (second left) for scoring the winner away at AFC Winkfield on 22nd February 2020.
Thoughts from Hype Train FC General Secretary, Robert Austin:
"After a lot of hard work behind the scenes since our debut season ended prematurely, I couldn't be more proud to announce HypeTrainFC.com. Our team, both on and off the field, is growing by the day and slowly but surely I'm putting in the steps and foundations that will ensure that Hype Train FC becomes an institution in grassroots football, even long after I'm able to still kick a ball.
We made great strides in our first year with our management team learning a lot to take on board and improve on for our return to the field this year. One key area we ae tackling is the long-term development of the team and the move to have Hype Train FC shine as its own project was a necessary step. I truly believe we offer a unique and unrivalled footballing experience that makes this good group of players and project an attractive prospect for anyone in the Berkshire area - now we have the ability to showcase our efforts to the maximum.
The new website looks great and is something that the players can show off with pride. This move will help the club become more visible on social and web channels and will help massively with player recruitment in the years to follow as I look to expand the club in the future.
We are of course still linked, founded, funded, and sponsored by our parent website TheHypeTrain.co.uk and we will be housing club information across both websites.
I can't wait for the start of the new season and we hope you join us for the journey as the team looks to make up for lost time in the 2020/21 season!"
